Can they find out I forged my mom's signature?

I entered a singer/songwriter contest and it's on Saturday night, I had asked my mom if I could enter it but she said no and that I should concentrate more on my school work instead of chasing after some pipe dream but I really want it especially since the first prize is $500 and free studio time to record a demo, which is something I want to do. Plus, if I win it could prove to her how serious I am about this. But if I win can they find out I forged her signature?

She got pissed off and plans on calling them and saying it was against her permission though I don't see how that will go since it probably ends badly for me. I'm totally fine but she's freaking about it. Like last year when I was sent to the school psychologist and she made a big problem how they can't speak to me because I'm a minor instead of being concerned about me. What's going to happen?

So i forged my fathers signature with a note to be allowed to leave school property. worked out great!.. till i used it every single day week after week. finally my teacher said he's going to call my father to check i didnt' back down and told him to go ahead. thankfully my father wasn't home. But he did find out as the teacher left a message on the machine. We talk about that now that im older i'll say to him do you remember the time i did this or that and he smiles and says i had a great imagination even back then lol.
